College Open Evening for 2018 Enrolments
7 pm in our Performing Arts Centre
We would like to welcome all new perspective students and parents/guardians to an open evening at our College.
This is an opportunity to ask questions about the school system and take a guided tour of our college.
Attendees are addressed by the Principal, shown a short PowerPoint presentation by our Lead Students in the Performing Arts Centre, followed by a tour of the college. The Principal, Deputy Principals and Enrolment Officer are available to answer any questions regarding the college during this time.

Children who live in our school’s area (In Zone) are guaranteed a place.
If you are Out of Zone
There are limited places for students that are determined by holding a ballot from the applications that are submitted by the closing date. The Out-of-zone Ballot dates are set by the Ministry of Education, please refer to the Ministry website regarding the ballot process, order of priority and ballot dates.
OPEN - Out of Zone 2018 Ballot applications close: Sunday 15 October 2017, drawn: Thursday 19 October 2017. If you are chosen from the ballot list you will be informed within 24 hours.
Closed - Out of Zone 2017 Ballot closed 7 September, drawn 14 September 2016.

Only completed applications with the enclosed documents below will be accepted.
A copy of…
- Evidence of usual place of residence (3 items of proof are required) e.g. Telephone Bill; Electricity Bill; Bank Statements; Proof of Purchase of Residence; or Rental Agreement for Property.
- Latest Intermediate or College report.
- NZ passport; Birth certificate if born in NZ, or Visa in passport with parents/caregivers work visa; Residence visa in passport.
Incomplete applications will be returned.
Once your application has processed, there is an Enrolment Interview
Each student is interviewed; this takes around 15 to 20 minutes. We will contact you for a scheduled time.
Interviews are conducted by the Senior Leadership Team, Whanau Leaders, or Heads of Learning Area.
The interview allows students and parents/caregivers time to ask any questions regarding the college and discuss options relating to the student's year level.
During the interview, a starting date will be confirmed. Information about uniform fitting times, and stationery requirements will also be available. An email will also be sent to confirm.
