Filled with laughter and great food, Languages Week is one of BDSC’s highlights of the year. Therefore, to ensure all the laughter and smiles continued for another year all the language classes planned, budgeted and prepared for this week. On 16 June 2021 the planning and stressing finally came to a halt, as all the language classes from Chinese, Japanese, French and Spanish came together for another Languages Week to remember.
From takoyaki, crepes, empanadas and dumplings each language class prepared their very best dishes filled with care and culture from all around the world to sell to hungry students. Displaying only a fraction of the culture from each country that they originated from and showing that languages isn’t only a form of communication but a way to connect each person through culture and warmth.
