We would very much like to meet all the parents of our new students and are taking this opportunity to invite you to a Whanau-based Parent Information Evening followed by a Year 9 Camp Meeting. The evening will commence at 7 pm. Please, could you be seated in your child’s Whanau by 6:50 pm.
This is an opportunity for you to meet your child’s Whanau Leader where they will introduce you to the processes and expectations of our College including how to access important information on the web portal, as well as answering any questions you may have.
Our Whanau system is at the heart of the College and is the foundation of our holistic approach to student education and pastoral care. Upon enrolement, students are placed in a Whanau where they become part of our extended family of teachers and students of all year levels and they remain in this Whanau during their years at college, nurturing a sense of belonging.
Year 9 Camp Meeting
The second half of the meeting will also provide important information regarding the upcoming Year 9 Camp.
If you do not have a Year 9 student attending camp then this will be an opportunity for you to depart.
It is expected that the evening will conclude around 8 pm.
