Eighteen international students went on an amazing three day trip to the Bay of Islands. As always, the trip included a mixture of educational and experiential activities for the students. This trip included visiting:
- The Parry Kauri tree at the Warkworth Museum
- Waitangi Treaty Grounds
- Sandboarding at Opononi
- Visit to Tane Mahuta
- Dolphin viewing and cruise to Hole in the Rock
- Visit to Urupukapuka Island
It’s been especially pleasing to see students from such a diverse range of cultures getting involved in some of the amazing things New Zealand has to offer. For one of our students who had been in New Zealand for a number of years this was their first time out of Auckland! There is so much to see and do when students take advantage of these opportunities. We look forward to taking even more students on our next adventure!
